1970 TECHNA GROUP was started on 1970, based in Faenza, Italy. It was established as a publishing house specialized in the ceramics sector.

1971 In addition to the main editorial activity, TECHNA GROUP starts a series of congresses involving in the field of ceramics science and technology. Under the acronism of CIMTEC (International Conferences on Modern Materials and Technologies), this series of congresses grew in importance along the years and now stands as the most important event organized in Europe to discuss advancements in research and technology innovation for the sector and for the whole area of materials technologies.

1975 Cooperates to the launch of the first edition of TECNARGILLA (International Fair of Technologies and Equipment for the Heavy Clay and Ceramics Industry).

1976 Organizes, in the framework of TECNARGILLA, the "1st International Technical Colloquium on Ceramics Processing" (TECHCER). This first edition was followed by other twelve editions up to the 1988.

1983 Organizes and chairs the 12th International Conference "SCIENCE OF CERAMICS" of the European Ceramic Association.

1987 Together with some leading ceramic companies supports the foundation of the WORLD ACADEMY OF CERAMICS, the most important cultural international organization for ceramics.

1992 Cooperates to the organization of IMAT (Exhibition on Innovative Materials) co-organized with the Ente Fiera di Bologna.

The activities of TECHNA GROUP are widely recognized internationally for their continued support to promotion of the scientific and technological development of the ceramics and new materials sectors, with initiatives held in conjunction with, and the involvement of, major professional scientific and cultural organizations including Academia of Sciences, Universities and Public Research Institutions, Professional organizations, and industrial groups worldwide.
